1. About us
This website is operated by AMIECOCO PTY LTD (ABN 28 693 536 579), trading as amiecoco® (“amiecoco”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of these terms.
2. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
3. Our products
Our products are cosmetic skincare products for external use only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Please read the full ingredient list before use, and patch test on a small area of skin 24 hours before first use. Stop using a product if irritation occurs, and seek medical advice if it continues. Product images are for illustration, and packaging may vary slightly from what is shown.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Orders to New Zealand and Hong Kong may be shown in local currency for convenience, and your card provider may apply conversion fees. You may also be responsible for import duties or taxes charged by the destination country. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders we have already accepted. Payment is processed securely by Shopify and our payment partners. We do not store your full card details.
5. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a pricing or listing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud or resale. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.
6. Subscriptions
If you subscribe to a product, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method at the frequency you choose, until you cancel. Subscription pricing, skipping, pausing and cancellation are explained in our Cancellation Policy. You can manage your subscription at any time through your customer account.
7. Promotions and gifts
Promotional offers, discount codes and gifts with purchase are subject to their stated conditions and are available while stocks last. Unless stated otherwise:
- one discount code per order, and codes cannot be exchanged for cash
- welcome or first-order discounts are limited to one per customer
- gifts with purchase are available on eligible Australian orders only, have no cash value, and may be substituted with an item of similar value
- if you return items from an order that included a gift, and the remaining order no longer meets the gift threshold, we may ask you to return the gift or deduct its value from your refund
We may change or end a promotion at any time, but this won’t affect orders already placed.
8. Shipping and delivery
We ship within Australia and to New Zealand and Hong Kong. Shipping rates, free-shipping thresholds and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates only. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.
9. Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for activity under your account. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
11. Reviews and content you submit
If you submit a review, photo, comment or other content, you confirm that it is your own, honest and accurate, and does not breach anyone’s rights. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with amiecoco, including on our website and social media. We may moderate or remove content that is false, offensive or unlawful. We do not edit reviews to change their meaning.
12. Intellectual property
amiecoco® is a registered trade mark of AMIECOCO PTY LTD. All content on this website, including logos, product names, images, text and design, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. Acceptable use
You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, to introduce viruses or malicious code, or to buy products for commercial resale without our written agreement.
14. Third-party links and services
Our website may link to or use third-party services. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to replacing or repairing the goods, or refunding the price paid.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies at the time you place your order.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
